On 11 June, the Maritime Cluster Bulgaria organized the networking café “Opportunities on the Horizon,” which brought together representatives from business, academia, institutions, and the maritime community in Varna. The event served as a platform for exchanging ideas, building contacts, and discussing the development of the maritime sector in Bulgaria.
As part of the programme, guest speakers presented innovative solutions and best practices in sustainable development. Danaïl Marinov, founder of RedGet.io, introduced applications of artificial intelligence for monitoring and managing carbon emissions in port operations and maritime activities.
The project “A New Life for the Black Sea,” implemented by ECO.BG and Alexander Todorov, was presented as an initiative aimed at restoring the marine ecosystem through innovative approaches and sustainable practices.
The event also highlighted the opportunities provided by the Enterprise Europe Network, supporting international partnerships, market access, innovation, and participation in European initiatives.
The networking café confirmed the importance of such formats in fostering cooperation and supporting the development of the blue economy in Bulgaria.
