The use of the National Port Community System (PCS) will begin in Bulgarian maritime ports to support ships carrying out international voyages. The information was provided by BTA, based on data from the government press service.
The new system will ensure fast and secure information exchange between government institutions, port operators, and port users. It will simplify the submission and processing of documents, reduce the administrative burden, and improve key logistics processes.
The platform, developed by the Bulgarian Ports Infrastructure Company, will contribute to more efficient customs and border control, as well as faster handling of ships and cargo. The system is expected to support the modernization and digitalization of maritime transport in Bulgaria.
