Varna will host CONNEXUS 2026 – International Forum for Technology and Innovation

In October 2026, Varna will host CONNEXUS “Black Sea Technology Forum”. From 5 to 7 October, entrepreneurs, investors, technology leaders and representatives of the academic community from more than 10 countries will gather at Hotel Cherno More to discuss new opportunities for technological development in the region.

The forum is held under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Ms. Iliana Iotova. The programme will focus on key topics including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, automation, robotics, maritime technologies, smart cities and digital transformation.

CONNEXUS 2026 will bring together internationally recognised experts, entrepreneurs and representatives of leading organisations, including MIT, the NATO Innovation Fund and the European Innovation Council Fund. More than 500 participants and 35 exhibitors from Bulgaria and abroad are expected to attend. During the event, businesses will also be able to learn more about the opportunities offered by the Enterprise Europe Network.

The forum will feature plenary sessions, thematic discussions, B2B meetings, technology demonstrations, startup presentations and networking opportunities, creating opportunities for knowledge exchange, new connections and future partnerships.

With a special focus on the Black Sea region, CONNEXUS highlights the role of technology in the development of business, science and the public sector, as well as Varna’s potential to become an important hub for technological cooperation and innovation.
